Denham Country Park (1.5 miles)
A scenic and relaxing location on the banks of the River Colne, Misbourne, and Frays, the park is home to a mix of wildlife. Visitor may catch a glimpse of herons and kingfishers, while in summer, damselflies, and dragonflies dart over the wet meadows.
From the Village Green, there are two easy access routes to the Country Park. Head to the village church and follow the footpaths, shown in blue on the above map above, through the golf course, which will lead you to the Country Park.
We recommend a visit to the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre for some refreshment. You will also find a playground nearby. If you wish to explore further, why not join the short and easy access circular route from the Visitor Centre towards the Grand Union Canal. This route is approx 1.3 miles (2km). Download the map below, or you can visit our Colne Valley Visitor Centre and Riverside Cafe for a copy (small fee applies).

Explore the ancient Denham woodlands and the beautiful Misbourne Valley. During spring time, you’ll see carpets of bluebells on your walk.
This walk starts from Denham Green, Northmoor Hill Wood.

Please note: Less mobile walkers may find the flooding at the River Misbourne footbridge path near the M25 (south of waypoint 3) difficult to negotiate. Buckinghamshire Council has been informed and should be rectifying it.
