The Parish Council is responsible for the Bus Shelters across the Parish. The council took a decision some time ago to only supply traditional brick built shelters in recognition of its responsibilities in maintaining standards within the conservation areas across much of the parish.
In 2024 and 2025, the Parish Council installed new solar lights and CCTV cameras with public notices in our 10 bus shelters. This enhanced the sense of security for residents waiting for a bus during the dark winter months, while also serving as a deterrent to individuals responsible for graffiti.
All our bus shelters are deep-cleaned once or twice a year.
All shelters are monitored weekly, and any maintenance required is scheduled as necessary.
If you encounter any issues with our bus shelters, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 01895 834709 or email enquiries@denhambucks-pc.gov.uk, providing the relevant bus shelter number.
